HOW AN INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

1. Perform procedures to ensure the safety of information systems assets and protect systems from access or destruction.
2. Understand Department of Defense (DOD) RMF-based Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes.
3. Develop and execute security control assessments using tools like XACTA, eMASS, ACAS, and Nessus.
4. Analyze system test results across security domains and develop reports.
5. Assess RMF security controls and develop supporting documentation independently.
6. Ensure security controls are correctly implemented and effective.
7. Interact with DoD community customers and industry providers.
8. Maintain current knowledge of industry standard Information Assurance best practices.
9. Participate in special projects as required.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Technical skills: RMF, XACTA, eMASS, ACAS, DISA STIGs.
• Certification: IAM Level II (CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO).
• Security Clearance: TOP SECRET with SCI.
• Location: On-site at MacDill AFB, FL.
• US Citizenship required.
