Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Organic Chemistry or related field, or a BS with 1–3 years’ experience.
• Successful completion of organic chemistry coursework is required.
• Familiarity with substance naming conventions and structural descriptions of chemical substances.
• Excellent scientific reading comprehension and writing skills.
• Ability to learn policies, workflows, and tools from trainers and apply them.
• Strong organizational skills, time management, and multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Provide database building support for chemical and life sciences literature curation into CAS products and services.
• Review documents and indexing structures in a production environment.
• Collaborate in an agile team, showing initiative and adaptability.
