Job summary

The Campbell University library seeks a Reference and Instruction Librarian to serve as liaison to multiple academic departments, delivering reference services, information literacy instruction, and developing instructional materials and collections. Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Library or Information Science (ALA-accredited) required.
• Undergraduate degree in a Campbell University taught field preferred.
• Knowledge of information literacy instruction and assessment desired.
• Experience in higher education libraries or similar settings desired.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and assess information literacy instruction for undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs across multiple modes.
• Develop instructional materials, guides, and online tutorials.
• Serve as library liaison to departments for collection development and instructional needs.
• Provide instruction for English 100-level courses and liaison department courses.
• Conduct in-depth research consultations with students and faculty.
