Job summary

Tallgrass is seeking an Information Governance intern to gain hands-on experience managing the company’s Microsoft 365 environment, including SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive. You will work on records management, data governance, and related technology support in a fast-paced professional setting.

This temporary full-time internship in Lakewood, CO runs for the Summer 2027 period, with exposure to Power Platform tools and real-world data governance projects.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 apps including SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive.
• Familiarity with data management, records management, or information systems concepts.
• Exposure to Power Platform tools such as Power Automate or Power Apps is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply documented processes and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily department tasks and ongoing project work.
• Support end users experiencing issues related to SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Learn and apply published documentation and processes to resolve issues.
• Index and categorize physical records and coordinate retrieval/return of offsite boxes.
• Support shredding and scanning activities across the company.
• Document, reconcile, track and monitor information sent offsite against internal databases.
• Create and maintain Microsoft Forms and Power Platform automations and applications.
• Audit system usage, storage, and SharePoint site collections for activity and storage issues.
• Contribute to data governance efforts for structured and unstructured data.
