Job summary

Vedder Price is seeking an Information Governance System Analyst to support data governance, iManage integrity, and data processing across enterprise platforms, with Chicago or New York office options. The role emphasizes data quality, system integration, and automation using SQL Server, Excel, Python, and REST APIs.

The candidate will engage in data modeling, reporting, and operational support, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data workflows and effective governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Information Governance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience supporting document management systems (preferably iManage or similar platforms).
• Experience working with structured data, databases, and data governance processes.
• Experience supporting system integrations or working with data from multiple enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with eDiscovery protocols and tools such as Relativity or Everlaw preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and organize data from multiple sources to support matter-centric data management.
• Classify, normalize, and prepare data for disposition (archive, retain, or move based on matter status).
• Support identification and remediation of inconsistent, duplicate, or improperly structured data.
• Execute data cleanup and reorganization across legacy and active data repositories.
• Perform data quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
