Job summary

Vedder Price P.C. is seeking an Information Governance System Analyst to support data governance, data processing, and system integrity across enterprise platforms in our Chicago or New York offices.

The role emphasizes data quality, system administration of iManage and related tools, and collaboration with IT, eDiscovery, and BI teams to enable deeper insight into matter data. Strong scripting and SQL skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Information Governance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience supporting document management systems (preferably iManage or similar platforms).
• Experience with structured data, databases, and data governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Data Governance & Operations: Collect, process, and organize data from multiple sources to support matter-centric data management.
• Classify, normalize, and prepare data for disposition based on matter status.
• Support data quality checks and remediation of inconsistencies across data repositories.
• iManage System Support: Monitor and support integrity of iManage workspaces, validate imports and metadata.
• Data Processing, Scripting & Reporting: Execute data import/export/transform using SQL Server, Excel, and scripting; develop SQL- and Python-based scripts.
• Systems Integration & Technical Support: Support integrations between iManage and enterprise systems; troubleshoot data pipelines and API connections.
• Data Modeling & Analytical Support: Develop data models to provide insight into legal matter data distribution.
• Operational Support & Automation: Create/modify scripts to automate repetitive tasks; provide technical guidance.
