- Drive adoption of the Data Governance Policy
- Monitor and report adherence across bank domains
- Facilitate stewardship and stakeholder forums
- Prepare executive, committee, and regulatory reporting
- Support and enable stewardship of data across bank data domains
- Govern Sensitive Data, Information Sharing, Critical Reports, Critical Data, Data SLAs, User Developed Applications, Enablement Zones, Data Asset Inventories, Data Risk Management, and PRCI/RCSA
- Synthesize information, data, and research to recommend information governance initiatives delivering business value within a data domain
- Partner with Enterprise teams and stakeholders to enhance information governance processes and tools
- Propose process and tool improvement recommendations to peers, the community, and leadership
- Anticipate, analyze, and resolve problems and issues; recommend solutions and determine appropriate escalation
- Acquire and apply knowledge of business lines, channels, data domains, applications, and processes
- Apply risk and compliance principles to information governance and data management solutions
- Execute information governance and data management practices independently and with peers
- Identify, measure, monitor, and control risks in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Architecture, Information Management, Information Studies, Information Technology, Risk, Audit or related technical field; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Information or Data related practices, including information governance, information management, Risk, Audit, information architecture, IT, analysis and reporting; OR an advanced degree in a related field with 2 years’ experience in Information or Data related practices
- Minimum 1 year of related work experience analyzing data governance issues and delivering data management solutions, including documenting business workflow and managing data quality processes
- Extensive experience in data quality metrics, business rules and dashboards
- Experience navigating complex governance, compliance, risk management, or regulatory environments
- Ability to build effective partnerships and influence outcomes across multiple business teams, functions, and stakeholder groups
- Knowledge of information governance, data governance, data management, or data risk management practices
- Experience leading or supporting cross-functional initiatives involving coordination, collaboration, and stakeholder management
- Ability to adapt to evolving business needs and contribute to governance maturity and continuous improvement
- Must not require visa sponsorship or immigration support now or in the future
