Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Information Assurance Engineer to support the PEO IWS 5B program within the Chief Information Security Office. You will collaborate with the Information System Security Manager to ensure compliance with NIST 800-53 controls and maintain the integrity of critical systems.

You will perform risk assessments, support A&A/ATO processes, conduct continuous monitoring, and coordinate eMASS, SCAP/Nessus, and DISA STIGs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of related cybersecurity or information assurance experience.
• DoD 8140 IAT II certifications preferred or required.
• Ability to research, learn, and collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify security risks.
• Support A&A and Authority to Operate processes.
• Conduct audits and maintain SSPs, POA&Ms, and security assessments.
• Monitor and maintain security controls through continuous monitoring.
• Operate security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate remediation efforts.
• Stay informed on emerging threats and industry best practices.
