Job summary

MANTECH in Oahu, Hawaii seeks a seasoned Information Assurance Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on IT and A/V infrastructure management within a secure facility, coordinating across organizations and ensuring IA policies are followed.

Qualified candidates have 10+ years in IT/AV support in SCIF/SAP environments, a Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field, and active TS clearance with TS/SCI eligibility. This on-site position requires readiness to manage incidents and outages.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years’ IT or AV infrastructure experience in a SCIF or SAP facility.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field preferred.
• Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Assist facility manager with IT and A/V infrastructure; draft SOPs to facilitate proper usage.
• Coordinate with multiple supporting organizations and oversee installations, imaging, and operations across security domains per policies.
• Ensure audit records are collected, reviewed, and documented; report findings to Site Security lead and applicable ISSO/ISSMs.
• Monitor IA security incidents and take appropriate actions.
• Lead submission of IT system remedy tickets to data owners, help desk, or reporting site.
• Notify users of major system outages and connectivity issues, including after hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Provide basic user support including password resets and account reactivation.
• Coordinate staff across government, Marine Corps, and contractor organizations.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Assist facility manager with the management of IT and A/V infrastructure; draft supporting SOPs to facilitate proper usage.
• Coordinate with multiple supporting organizations and oversee the installations, imaging, and operations of systems across multiple security domains in accordance with policies, directives, and best practices.
• Ensure audit records are collected, reviewed, and documented (to include any anomalies); Report applicable findings to the Site Security lead and applicable ISSO/ISSMs.
• Monitor and take appropriate actions in the event of information assurance related security incidents.
• Serve as lead for submission of IT system remedy tickets to applicable data owner, help desk or other reporting site.
• Monitor, support scheduling and notify users of major system outages and connectivity issues, to include those occurring after hours, on weekends and holidays.
• Support basic user support to include password resets and account reactivation on all installed networks.
• Communicate and provide effective staff coordination across government, Marine Corps, and contractor organizations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ten (10) or more years’ experience in Information Technology or Audio-Visual infrastructure support within a SCIF or SAP facility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field of study.

Clearance Requirements

• Must hold a current/active Top Secret Clearance.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Physical Requirements

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
