The California Department of Industrial Relations is seeking a Workers' Compensation Consultant to provide general public information on workers' compensation benefits and procedures under the guidance of senior officials.

Under the general direction of the Presiding Workers' Compensation Judge and the Supervising Workers' Compensation Consultant, the Workers' Compensation Consultant (WCC) assists parties, whether or not represented by counsel, by providing general public information concerning workers' compensation benefits and procedures.

The incumbent will work 40 hours per week in an office setting equipped with standard office equipment. Air conditioned, in a high-rise building with elevator access, cubicle with natural and artificial lighting. Telework may be offered upon approval by the supervisor and consistent with DIR's Telework Policy. Effective 07/01/2025 the Hybrid will be 4 days at the Office.
