Job Title: Informatica MDM Production Support / Operations Engineer

Location: Plano, TX 75024 (Onsite: Locals Only)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Informatica MDM Production Support / Operations Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in Informatica MDM, IDQ, SQL, Dynatrace, Autosys, MFT, and production operations/support.

The candidate will be responsible for monitoring and supporting MDM batch processes, troubleshooting data and integration issues, performing root‑cause analysis, resolving production incidents, and maintaining data interfaces between MDM and downstream/upstream systems.

Candidates must have production operations/support experience along with hands‑on Informatica MDM and IDQ experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly MDM batch jobs for data loading and synchronization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline failures, batch failures, data loading errors, and production incidents.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring production issues and implement permanent/proactive fixes.
• Analyze large datasets to identify data anomalies, errors, duplicates, and inconsistencies.
• Prepare and execute processes for data corrections within MDM.
• Monitor and maintain real‑time and batch data interfaces between MDM and spoke systems.
• Troubleshoot integrations using APIs, REST/SOAP services, SIF APIs, IDQ, and ETL tools.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and data stewards to understand data requirements and ensure compliance with data governance standards.
• Use Oracle SQL for data analysis, validation, troubleshooting, and production issue investigation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Informatica MDM/IDQ jobs and workflows.
• Analyze UNIX shell scripts related to IDQ and MDM job failures.
• Monitor and troubleshoot applications and microservices using Dynatrace.
• Develop and troubleshoot Dynatrace configurations and dashboards as required.
• Use DQL (Dynatrace Query Language) for monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Work with Autosys for job scheduling and monitoring.
• Work with IBM Sterling Integrator/MFT or similar file‑transfer technologies.
• Troubleshoot Spring Boot microservices and integration‑related issues.
• Support and administer Informatica PowerCenter environments.
• Automate routine support activities using PowerShell, Python, UNIX Shell scripting, or similar technologies.
• Collaborate with distributed onshore/offshore teams across multiple time zones.
• Manage multiple production support priorities in a fast‑paced Application Managed Services (AMS) environment.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with Informatica MDM.
• Experience with MDM Hub Console 10.5 is preferred.
• Strong understanding of:
• IDD
• SIF
• Match/Merge Rules
• Experience with Informatica IDQ 10.5 is preferred.
• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter Administration.
• Experience supporting MDM/IDQ in a production operations environment.

SQL / Database

• Strong experience with Oracle databases.
• Ability to perform data analysis, validation, troubleshooting, and investigation using SQL.

Dynatrace - Must Have

• Hands‑on experience with Dynatrace.
• Experience setting up and configuring Dynatrace monitoring.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues using Dynatrace.
• Working knowledge of DQL (Dynatrace Query Language) is required.

Scheduling / File Transfer

• Experience with Autosys or similar enterprise scheduling tools.
• Experience with MFT / IBM Sterling Integrator or similar file‑transfer platforms.

Scripting

• UNIX/Linux shell scripting knowledge preferred.
• Ability to analyze scripts associated with IDQ/MDM job failures.
• Basic scripting experience using PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies for automation.

Application / Integration

• Experience troubleshooting Spring Boot / Microservices.
• Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience with SIF APIs and MDM integrations.
• Understanding of ETL/data integration concepts.

Top Required Skills

• Informatica MDM / IDQ – Strong hands‑on experience with MDM Hub, IDD, SIF, Match/Merge, Provisioning Tool, and IDQ.
• SQL / Oracle – Strong SQL skills for production data analysis and troubleshooting.

• Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar incident/change management tools.
• Strong client‑facing communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to translate business issues into technical actions.
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced production support environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Candidate must be comfortable with the rotational weekend shift.
• Candidates without production operations experience should not be submitted, even if they have Informatica experience.
