Overview

Job Title: Senior Informatica MDM Lead/Developer - Product & Customer Domains

Location: Los Alamitos, CA – Remote

Duration: 6 Months

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the design, development, and configuration of Informatica MDM solutions for our Product and Customer domains.
• Implement and support integrations between Informatica MDM and various enterprise systems, including SAP (using IDoc via Informatica Cloud Data Integration) and Salesforce.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and provide accurate effort estimates.
• Develop and customize Provisioning UI, ActiveVOS for E360 and Task Management.
• Develop and optimize Informatica MDM mappings, cleanse functions, and match/merge rules to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Configure and customize Informatica MDM Data Models, Hub Console, and IDD applications to meet specific business needs.
• Manage batch load processes and real-time APIs for data ingestion and consumption to/from MDM.
• Perform match tuning and performance optimization for MDM processes.
• Create and maintain SQL scripts for data loading into landing, staging, and base object tables.
• Develop Informatica MDM queries, packages, import/export templates, and modify repository objects as required.
• Support existing IICS and IDQ solutions, ensuring seamless data flow and quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data quality and integration issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data architects, and other developers.
• Contribute to defining best practices and standards for MDM development and operations.

Essential Technical Competencies

• Overall, 6-8 years of experience in designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements.
• Must have development experience of at least 2 significant projects with around 4-5 years of relevant experience in Informatica MDM (on-premise), including Hub, Provisioning UI, ActiveVOS, Match & Merge.
• Deep understanding of all core Informatica MDM functionalities.
• Proven experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
• Strong proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries, stored procedures, etc.).
• Knowledge of Batch Load and Real-Time APIs to/from MDM.
• Ability to carry out Match Tuning/Match Performance optimization.
• Extensive experience with Customization and Configurations on Data Model/Hub Console/IDD.
• Experience in creating source systems and configuring trust settings in MDM.
• Proficiency in creating mappings and utilizing various cleanse functions.
• Expertise in configuring Match/Merge settings.
• Experience in writing SQL to load data into landing tables and defining processes to load staging tables and corresponding Base Objects.
• Experience in creating Queries and packages within Informatica MDM.
• Experience in modifying the repository according to business needs.
• Proficient in creating import and export templates for loading and exporting data.
• Strong experience with SAP integrations, specifically using IDocs (e.g. MATMAS) via Informatica Cloud - Data Integration (IICS).
• Experience with Salesforce integration is a plus.

Good To Have Skills

• Experience with external Data Enrichment services.
• Experience in UI design and development.
• Familiarity with other Informatica products or cloud data integration platforms.
• Certifications in Informatica MDM or other relevant technologies.
• Experience with Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse and Power BI
