Job summary

Paradigm Technology is seeking a hands-on Informatica CDGC Administrator for a long-term contract in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. This hybrid role requires on-site presence 3 days per week and focuses on maintaining CDGC availability, scanning, and incident response.

The candidate will work with junior developers and business stakeholders, advising on admin best practices and ensuring end-to-end delivery of tasks within the IDMC CDGC domain.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Informatica administration experience, including 2+ years IDMC.
• Hands-on CDGC administration: catalog configuration, scans in MCC, and logs-based troubleshooting.
• Experience installing and maintaining Informatica Secure Agents on AWS EC2.
• Knowledge of IDMC data quality concepts and catalog integration.
• Production support experience, including P1 incident response and service recovery.
• Strong written and verbal communication with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Dallas–Fort Worth area-based and able to work on site 3 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Administer Informatica IDMC with a focus on CDGC: services, configuration, user roles and access.
• Keep CDGC up and available during business hours; restart and restore services when the platform is down.
• Run, monitor and troubleshoot catalog scans in MCC: read error logs, diagnose failures, fix root causes and rerun.
• Respond to P1 and other high‑priority incidents, including outside normal hours when required.
• Set up and maintain Secure Agents on AWS: raise EC2 and infrastructure requests, coordinate with the shared services team, and install and configure software through to completion.
• Work with data quality teams on rule specifications and rule occurrences, flagging and resolving configuration issues.
• Recommend administration best practices and the right approach when developers or stakeholders bring problems.
• Support and guide junior developers; communicate clearly with stakeholders in meetings and on incidents.
• Take ownership of getting work done end to end, rather than limiting scope to narrowly defined admin tasks.

Paradigm Technology is hiring a hands‑on Informatica CDGC Administrator for a long‑term contract in the Dallas Fort‑Worth Area. This is a hybrid, 3 days on site position.

Summary

Run day‑to‑day administration of Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) within Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC). This is an operational, "hands on keys" role, not an architect role: the person keeps CDGC available, runs and fixes scans, manages access, and resolves incidents.

The administrator will work daily alongside junior developers, data quality teams and business stakeholders, and are expected to advise on administration best practices when the team asks.

Key responsibilities

Administer Informatica IDMC with a focus on CDGC: services, configuration, user roles and access requests.

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of Informatica administration experience, including 2+ years administering IDMC.
• Hands‑on CDGC administration: catalog configuration, scan setup and execution in Metadata Command Center, and scan troubleshooting from logs.
• Experience installing, configuring and maintaining Informatica Secure Agents, ideally on AWS EC2.
• Working knowledge of IDMC data quality concepts (rule specifications, rule occurrences) and how they connect to the catalog.
• Production support experience, including P1 incident response and service recovery.
• Clear, confident communication with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• A practical, get‑it‑done attitude: comfortable handling routine operational tasks while advising on best practices.
• Based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and able to work on site 3 days a week.

Preferred qualifications

• Microsoft Azure experience, to help support our client’s region that runs on Azure.
• Broader cloud skills (AWS and/or Azure administration, networking, IAM).
• Exposure to AI or GenAI tools and use cases, including Informatica CLAIRE features.
• Experience with other IDMC services beyond CDGC (for example data integration or data quality).
• Prior work in financial services or other regulated environments.
