Job summary

Credence in McLean, VA seeks an Informatica Architect SME to lead enterprise data management, architect solutions, and guide a team in modernizing a legacy system to the Informatica PowerCenter platform for federal programs.

You will collaborate with federal clients, engineers, and business analysts to design data pipelines, ensure data quality, and deliver secure, scalable integration solutions in a fast-paced environment. Onboarding is planned for September 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required and strongly preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years in enterprise data integration with Informatica PowerCenter.
• Proven track record leading modernization efforts for federal systems or large data platforms.
• Deep knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter and its tooling (Data Integration, Data Quality, Metadata Manager).

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions with customers and partners to understand requirements and architect solutions.
• Modernize legacy systems to Informatica PowerCenter and ensure seamless integration with existing architectures.
• Provide deep technical expertise on Informatica PowerCenter and guide team practices.
• Collaborate with federal clients, engineers, and business analysts to design and implement solutions.
• Develop strategies for transformation and data integration, ensuring data flow and accuracy.
• Mentor junior members on Informatica usage and architecture best practices.
• Review existing processes and propose improvements using Informatica capabilities.
• Conduct workshops and knowledge-sharing with government clients and internal teams.
• Prepare documentation for new system architecture, designs, and specs.
• Develop scalable, maintainable software using industry-standard languages and tools.
• Work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and engineers to align with business goals.
• Adhere to secure coding practices to protect data and ensure secure solutions.
