Job summary

Credence is seeking an Informatica Architect SME to lead the modernization of enterprise data platforms, focusing on PowerCenter and related Informatica tools. The role involves guiding cross-functional teams, mapping data transformations, and ensuring secure, scalable solutions for government programs.

You will mentor staff, conduct workshops, and prepare architecture documentation while applying best practices in data integration and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of enterprise data integration experience with Informatica PowerCenter and related tools.
• Proven track record leading modernization for Federal government systems or large-scale data platforms.
• Deep knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter components (Data Integration, Data Quality, Metadata Manager).
• Strong understanding of ETL, data modeling, and integration strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions with customer and partners to capture requirements and architect solutions.
• Modernize legacy systems to Informatica PowerCenter platform with seamless integration.
• Provide deep technical guidance on Informatica PowerCenter and guide team on best practices.
• Collaborate with Federal clients, engineers, and business analysts to align with program objectives.
• Develop strategies to meet modernization challenges with technical and strategic recommendations.
• Map transformation and data integration processes ensuring data flow and accuracy.
• Mentor junior team members on Informatica tool usage and system architecture.
• Review current processes and propose Informatica-based improvements.
• Conduct workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions with government client and internal teams.
• Prepare documentation for new system architecture, designs, and specs.
• Develop and deliver high-quality software using industry-standard languages and frameworks.
• Collaborate across product teams to define requirements and ensure business alignment.
• Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect data.
