Job summary

Amtex Systems Inc is seeking an Infor VISUAL Finance Functional Lead (Record to Report) for a remote, long-term engagement. You will own the R2R process within VISUAL, partner with the finance team and coordinate with an offshore technical consultant to implement system changes.

You will guide month-end close in VISUAL, manage GL/AR/AP, and communicate with controllers and accountants, ensuring accurate financial reporting while traveling to Vantage sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Infor VISUAL finance work (GL, AR, AP, cash, period close).
• Experience running month-end close in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of job costing, inventory & WIP valuation, and standard cost variances.
• Strong client-facing skills: running meetings, managing expectations, and explaining VISUAL to controllers and accountants.

Responsibilities

• Own the Record to Report process in VISUAL; act as day-to-day contact for the finance team.
• Coordinate with offshore technical consultant for system changes as specified.
• Lead meetings with stakeholders and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.

We have an urgent Infor VISUAL Finance Functional Lead (Record to Report).

Title: Infor VISUAL Finance Functional Lead (Record to Report)

Location : Remote

Duration : Long Term

• Location: United States, remote. Works US Central or Eastern hours


• Start: As soon as possible

Client runs Infor VISUAL for order to cash, purchase to pay, plan to produce and record to report. Its finance team knows little about VISUAL's finance modules and depends on one outside partner. You will own record to report in VISUAL, be Vantage's day-to-day contact, and build the team's own capability. An offshore technical consultant from Emergere makes the system changes you specify.

Mandatory skills

• 5+ years of hands-on Infor VISUAL finance work (GL, AR, AP, cash, period close), as a consultant or as a finance user who ran the close in VISUAL.


• Has run the month-end close in a manufacturing company.


• A working command of job costing, inventory and WIP valuation, and standard cost variances.


• Strong client-facing skills: running meetings, managing expectations, and explaining VISUAL to controllers and accountants in business terms.


• Able to travel to Vantage sites when needed.

Desired skills

• Experience with other Infor ERPs, such as Infor LN, SyteLine (CloudSuite Industrial) or M3.


• Multi-site or multi-entity VISUAL setups and multi-currency.


• A VISUAL upgrade (9 to 10 or 11).


• Make-to-order or engineer-to-order manufacturing.


• Experience working alongside an incumbent implementation partner.
