Job summary

ABEC, a Bethlehem, PA based biopharmaceutical manufacturing supplier, seeks an ERP Specialist to manage and optimize ERP systems across technology, services, and human resources. The role emphasizes user training, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth operations.

The successful candidate will assess business needs, develop cost-effective solutions, and support implementation projects. On-call availability may be required to address emergencies and system issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Associate degree in a computer-related field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of business analysis techniques and information technology principles.
• Familiarity with SQL programming and SQL databases.
• Must possess excellent computer skills, proficient with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
• Experience with Infor Syteline is a plus.
• Experience with Mongoose Development environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with C# and Visual Basic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide implementation services, including process consulting, system configuration, testing, training, and project management support.
• Provide Tier1 User Support as the first point of contact for ERP software-based user issues.
• Identify and troubleshoot overall issues with the ERP system.
• Facilitate business process discussions between ABEC users and technical staff.
• Identify and scope ABEC users required system customizations.
• Ability to write SQL queries and perform basic SQL customization.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of Infor ERP and supporting technologies.
• Train end users in specific modules of ERP application.
• Prepare project documentation such as user manuals, training videos, issue logs and resolutions.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
• Ability to travel when required.
