Job summary

Columbus Global is seeking an experienced Infor M3 CloudSuite Technical Consultant to configure, secure, and administer M3 CloudSuite environments across development, testing, training, and production. This remote role involves post‑provisioning, security administration, cutover support, and preparing customer IT teams for ongoing administration.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of ERP technical consulting with hands‑on Infor M3 CloudSuite experience and multiple full lifecycle implementations,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of ERP technical consulting or enterprise application administration experience, including substantial hands‑on Infor M3 CloudSuite experience.
• Minimum of 2 full scale life cycle implementations to complete.
• Proven experience supporting M3 CloudSuite implementation projects, not solely ongoing production support.
• Experience independently configuring environments, security, authentication, and technical platform settings.
• Strong understanding of SaaS delivery models and responsibilities between customers, implementation partners, and Infor Cloud Operations.
• Experience supporting technical cutover, go‑live, and customer handover activities.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with Solution Architects, Integration Consultants, functional consultants, and client IT stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute M3 CloudSuite post‑provisioning activities per Work Order.
• Configure and validate M3 environments (dev, test, training, prod).
• Support M3 Business Engine setup and company/division configuration.
• Configure and administer Infor OS platform settings and services.
• Coordinate environment readiness, migrations, and technical troubleshooting.
• Work with Infor Cloud Operations and customer IT on provisioning and connectivity.
• Configure Infor OS users, roles, and access control.
• Refine IPC security roles to client requirements.
• Support SSO, identity federation, and Entra ID configurations.
• Validate security configurations and access controls.
• Troubleshoot platform configuration and environment issues.
• Coordinate dependencies with Integrations and reporting teams.
• Participate in technical cutover planning and go‑live readiness.
• Prepare environment cleanup procedures and production baseline restoration.
• Assess impact of monthly CloudSuite updates and perform regression testing.
• Troubleshoot issues during deployment, go‑live, and hypercare.
• Maintain environment configuration and security documentation.
• Develop technical procedures for customer IT teams.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and training for system administrators.
• Coordinate handover of admin responsibilities to the customer.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Infor M3 CloudSuite Technical Consultant to support the technical configuration, administration, security, and operational readiness of enterprise ERP implementations.

This is a hands‑on consulting role responsible for configuring and managing M3 CloudSuite environments, performing post‑provisioning activities, administering Infor OS and M3 security, supporting technical cutover, and preparing customer IT teams to assume ongoing administration responsibilities.

The ideal candidate has direct experience implementing Infor M3 CloudSuite in complex, multi‑company or global environments and can independently execute technical configuration activities while working within established solution architecture and project delivery standards.

Note: This is a remote opportunity and can be located from anywhere in the United States. #LI-Remote.

Responsibilities:

CloudSuite Environment Configuration

• Execute M3 CloudSuite post‑provisioning activities in accordance with project requirements and the applicable Work Order.
• Configure and validate M3 environments, including development, testing, training, and production environments.
• Support M3 Business Engine setup, company/division configuration, and foundational system settings.
• Configure and administer Infor OS platform settings and associated services.
• Coordinate environment readiness, refreshes, configuration migration, and technical troubleshooting.
• Work with Infor Cloud Operations and customer IT teams on provisioning, connectivity, and environment‑related issues.

Security and Authentication

• Configure and maintain M3 and Infor OS users, roles, authorizations, and application access.
• Refine Infor Process Catalog (IPC) preconfigured security roles to align with customer requirements.
• Configure and troubleshoot authentication, single sign‑on (SSO), and identity federation.
• Support Microsoft Entra ID and other enterprise identity provider configurations.
• Validate company/division access, role‑based permissions, and security configurations.
• Assist with security testing, user provisioning, and resolution of access‑related issues.

Infor OS Platform Administration

• Perform foundational administration and configuration of Infor OS and related M3 CloudSuite components.
• Support configuration and access management for Infor ION, Infor Document Management (IDM), Data Fabric/Data Lake, and Enterprise Search.
• Troubleshoot platform configuration, permissions, and environment‑related issues.
• Coordinate with Integration Consultants and other technical specialists on dependencies affecting integrations, reporting, and application extensions.

Cutover, Go‑Live, and Release Management

• Participate in technical cutover planning, task estimation, sequencing, and execution.
• Support production environment preparation, configuration validation, and technical go‑live readiness.
• Where acceptance testing occurs in production, develop and execute approved environment cleanup and reset procedures in coordination with Infor and project technical leads.
• Support restoration of the approved production baseline, including Golden Company configurations and applicable Infor OS components.
• Assess impacts from Infor CloudSuite monthly updates and coordinate technical validation and regression testing.
• Troubleshoot environment and platform issues during deployment, go‑live, and hypercare.

Documentation and Customer Handover

• Maintain environment configuration, security, and administration documentation.
• Develop technical procedures and support documentation for customer IT teams.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and training for system administrators and designated technical owners.
• Coordinate handover of environment administration and operational responsibilities to the customer.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant ERP technical consulting or enterprise application administration experience, including substantial hands‑on Infor M3 CloudSuite experience.
• A minimum of 2 full scale life cycle implementations to complete
• Proven experience supporting M3 CloudSuite implementation projects, not solely ongoing production support.
• Experience independently configuring environments, security, authentication, and technical platform settings.
• Strong understanding of SaaS delivery models and the division of responsibilities between customers, implementation partners, and Infor Cloud Operations.
• Experience supporting technical cutover, go‑live, and customer handover activities.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Technology Solution Architects, Integration Consultants, functional consultants, and client IT stakeholders.

Preferred

• Infor M3 CloudSuite / M3 CE: Environment configuration, post‑provisioning, company/division setup, and M3 Business Engine administration.
• Infor OS: Platform configuration, tenant administration, user management, and application access.
• M3 and Infor OS Security: Security roles, authorization configuration, user provisioning, and access troubleshooting.
• Authentication and Identity Management: SSO, SAML, identity federation, and enterprise identity providers.
• Infor Process Catalog (IPC): Understanding of standard M3 configurations and preconfigured security roles.
• CloudSuite Environment Management: Configuration management across multiple environments, environment readiness, and production preparation.
• Infor CloudSuite Release Management: Monthly update cycles, technical validation, and environment‑level regression testing.
• Technical Cutover: Production readiness, environment cleanup, configuration validation, and go‑live support.
• Candidates must also demonstrate a working understanding of Infor ION, IDM, Data Fabric/Data Lake, and Enterprise Search, sufficient to support foundational administration, security, and configuration activities.
