Job Title: Senior Infor CSI/Syteline Finance & Accounting Consultant

Location: Remote

Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Finance & Accounting Consultant with deep expertise in Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI/Syteline) to lead financial module implementations, provide hands-on training, and guide clients through process optimization and system adoption. This role is client-facing and highly collaborative, supporting both new deployments and ongoing enhancements within manufacturing and distribution environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of how CSI's financial modules function end-to-end and be comfortable working directly with controllers, CFOs, and accounting teams to configure, train, and support users in real-world use of the system.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, configuration, and support of CSI financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, and Cost Accounting.
• Provide hands-on training for accounting and finance teams; covering workflows, month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, reporting tools, and audit prep inside CSI.
• Work with clients to assess current processes, identify gaps, and guide them in maximizing system capabilities with an eye on compliance, accuracy, and automation.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and stakeholders to deliver milestones and continuous improvement efforts on implementation.
• Support the setup and customization of financial reports (including SSRS or third-party tools), and help teams manage reconciliations and financial visibility.
• Engage in post-implementation support including troubleshooting, retraining, process adjustments, and module enhancements based on evolving needs.
• Build strong working relationships with finance leaders, becoming a trusted advisor who helps teams navigate both system and strategic financial needs.

Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Infor CSI/Syteline, with a specialization in financial and accounting modules
• Deep understanding of manufacturing cost structures, inventory valuation, WIP, and period-end closing processes
• Experience leading finance teams through ERP implementations or upgrades in a consulting or internal role
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and how they relate to CSI's data structure and configuration
• Ability to train users at all levels (from AP clerks to CFOs) on both system use and broader financial workflows
• Familiarity with SSRS, Power BI, or other reporting tools
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote consulting environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience working with Infor CSI/Syteline Finance & Accounting modules during a SAAS cloud implementation
• CPA, CMA, or MBA is a plus
• Familiarity with multi-site, multi-entity configurations and intercompany financial processes in CSI
