Overview

We are seeking a Manager of Business Consulting to lead a team of ERP and business operations consultants. This role combines leadership, project oversight, and hands-on consulting-driving successful project delivery while coaching team members and partnering with clients to deliver high-value ERP solutions. The ideal candidate brings consulting and project management experience, a track record of ERP success, and a passion for team leadership and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of consultants, providing regular feedback, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Guide team members on project deliverables and professional development.
• Foster a collaborative and accountable team environment aligned with company values.
• Lead project planning efforts, creating and managing multi-phase project plans.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, monitoring schedules and resource allocation.
• Act as an escalation point for project issues and guide the team through challenges.
• Support process improvement initiatives and internal projects across the department.
• Serve as a senior consultant or project manager on key client projects when needed.
• Build and manage client relationships, set clear expectations, and ensure delivery quality.
• Lead client meetings and consultant briefings to track progress and remove obstacles.
• Partner with sales to scope new opportunities, create proposals, and present solutions.
• Share subject matter expertise with internal teams to elevate project outcomes.
• Stay current with ERP trends, best practices, and implementation techniques.
• Promote and model continuous improvement in consulting practices and service delivery

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in ERP consulting and project management, ideally in the SMB market.
• 3+ years of experience managing or mentoring consulting teams.
• Proven track record leading successful ERP or supply chain management implementations.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills for client and internal communication.
• Ability to manage through ambiguity and remain adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, both regionally and nationally.
• Experience with Infor CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) or similar ERP systems.
• PMP or CAPM certification is a plus.
• MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
