Competenze

• Citizenship requirement: US citizen or eligible for appointment per VA policy.
• 2–3 years IT/biomed experience required.
• Knowledge of HL7 and DICOM standards
• Ability to troubleshoot networked medical equipment and clinical interfaces
• Ability to apply FDA/FISMA/NIST cybersecurity standards to devices and systems
• Experience with medical network setup (VLAN, IP addressing, security)
• Knowledge of virus protection, software updates, and OS patching

• Manage projects involving medical equipment and clinical systems—including procurement, installation and maintenance.
• Manage hardware for virtual/physical servers and medical workstations; coordinate OS updates and antivirus.
• Identify and resolve issues with networked medical equipment and clinical systems.

• Coordinate software patches, backups, and data recovery with staff and manufacturers.
