Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking an Information Security Co-Op Intern for 2027 in an hybrid in-office model (Indianapolis, IN / Atlanta, GA). The program runs 12 months with Spring and Summer cohorts, starting Jan 2027 and May 2027.

You’ll rotate through vulnerability management, CSOC, and application security while supporting compliance and encryption initiatives. Minimum 20 hours/week, up to 40 hours, with flexibility for medical or academic commitments.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity or related field of study.
• Demonstrated teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in healthcare industry and security operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform operational tasks supporting multiple security domains.
• Rotations across vulnerability management, application security, cloud security, CSOC, IT controls compliance, encryption, security policy.
• Assist in pre-production vulnerability scans to validate security before go-live.
