Job summary

Lubrizol Corporation in Wickliffe, OH is seeking an Information Security Co-op for Spring 2027. This full-time, hybrid on-site role offers exposure to multiple cybersecurity domains, including SOC, GRC, engineering, DFIR, awareness, OT security, and IAM.

You will gain real-world experience while supporting a range of security initiatives. The position requires US work authorization, an undergrad degree in cybersecurity or related field, and a commitment to three or more alternating semesters.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Active student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security or related field.
• Able to commit to three or more alternating semesters.

Responsibilities

• Support Security Operations Center activities, monitoring and responding to security incidents.
• Assist Governance, Risk & Compliance efforts and help manage risk.
• Contribute to Security Engineering projects to design and implement security solutions.
• Assist Digital Forensics & Incident Response investigations.
• Support Security Awareness programs and employee training.
• Help secure Operational Technology environments and Lab security.
• Assist Identity and Access Management activities and access controls.

• Security Operations Center:Monitor and respond to security incidents to protect the organization's information systems.
• Governance, Risk & Compliance:Ensure compliance with security policies and manage risk effectively.
• Security Engineering:Design and implement security solutions to protect digital assets.
• Digital Forensics & Incident Response:Investigatethreatsfor how and why they hit IT systems.
• Security Awareness:Develop programs to educate employees about cybersecurity best practices.
• Operation Technology and Lab Security:Secure the operational technology environments and labs against cyber threats.
• Identity and Access Management:Manage user identities and access permissions to ensure data security.
