NV Energy is seeking a Records Management professional to develop and oversee a risk-based RM program, ensuring compliant retention and disposal of records across electronic and physical formats.
You will work with business leaders to implement ECRM practices, provide training, and support legal productions while promoting a compliant information management culture within the organization.
Develops, implements and oversees a risk‑based Records and Information Management program to ensure records are maintained and disposed of in compliance with legal discovery, federal, state, and corporate policies and procedures and industry best practices, both to mitigate risk around records retention and to effectuate cost efficiencies. Works independently; receives minimal guidance and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish functions of the job.
Essential Education, Skills, and Environment
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school plus 3–5 years of related experience. Candidates that do not possess a bachelor’s degree must have a minimum of 7 years of related work experience.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
Demonstrated knowledge of records management principles; knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements regarding procedures, best practices and records management. Demonstrated technical knowledge of operation of records management systems/software applications, records retention schedules and policies, and library science. Demonstrated skills in working in a team‑oriented environment and independently. Demonstrated skills in bringing together a wide range of ideas, facilitating a win‑win resolution with designated deadlines. Demonstrated organization, communication skills (orally and written), decision‑making, project coordination, attention to detail, customer service, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
Strong analytical skills and demonstrated knowledge in data analysis.
