Job summary

World Food Programme is seeking an Information Management and Monitoring Consultant to lead data systems, dashboards and reporting across multiple African and partner offices. The role emphasizes data quality, KPI tracking and donor communications.

The successful candidate will coordinate with country offices, leverage Excel and Tableau, and contribute to knowledge management and learning within the project framework.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in information management, monitoring and evaluation, reporting or data analysis.
• Experience in preparing communication, reporting and visibility materials for donors, partners and senior management.
• Experience with data visualization and dashboard development.
• Experience working with donor-funded programmes is desirable.
• Experience in humanitarian, development, logistics or supply chain operations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project monitoring systems, databases and dashboards to track implementation progress across all participating countries.
• Consolidate operational, fleet, safety and training data received from country offices, and transporters.
• Support the development, collection and monitoring of project KPIs related to road safety, accident reduction, transport operational efficiency, capacity strengthening.
• Establish baseline data and maintain performance tracking mechanisms throughout project implementation.
• Conduct data quality assurance and validation exercises to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Produce reports and dashboards to support management decision-making.
• Provide technical support and guidance to Country Offices on information management, monitoring, data collection, reporting and performance tracking, including training.
