Description

Shopbop is seeking a strategic, innovative, and influencer-obsessed Engagement Manager to lead our Influencer Engagement Marketing strategy. This role involves developing and executing influencer-facing marketing programs that promote engagement, education, and content creation at scale. Responsibilities include creating new marketing initiatives such as educational resources, events, and automated engagement tools like onboarding email series and push notifications. The position reports to the Head of Influencer Marketing within the Influencer Marketing team.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced environment. They should possess deep knowledge of the creator and marketing landscape, excel in communication, and utilize data-driven and analytical approaches for program development and decision-making.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Lead and implement influencer-facing marketing and technology programs, including educational resources, Discord community management, and virtual events to foster influencer growth and retention.
  2. Develop and execute a comprehensive influencer lifecycle strategy, leveraging marketing automation tools for seamless onboarding and long-term relationship management, including workflows, email, and push outreach.
  3. Create educational content to help influencers develop skills, grow their platforms, and understand partnership opportunities.
  4. Lead strategy and editorial direction for Influencer technology programs.
  5. Analyze program data to optimize initiatives, identify growth opportunities, and make data-driven decisions for revenue maximization.
Basic Qualifications
  1. 6+ years of professional marketing experience.
  2. Proficiency in using data and metrics to improve performance.
  3. Experience with Excel or Tableau for data analysis and visualization.
  4. Experience in building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing campaigns from start to finish.
  5. Experience managing and measuring marketing performance across channels.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience managing external partners for marketing program development.
  2. Experience presenting ideas to various organizational levels to gain support.
