Description

Shopbop is seeking a strategic, innovative, and influencer-obsessed Engagement Manager to lead our Influencer Engagement Marketing strategy. This role involves developing and executing influencer-facing marketing programs that promote engagement, education, and content creation at scale. Responsibilities include creating new marketing initiatives to support influencer growth with Shopbop, such as educational resources, events, and automated engagement tools like onboarding email series and push notifications. The position reports to the Head of Influencer Marketing and is part of the Influencer Marketing team.

A successful candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The role requires deep knowledge of the creator and marketing landscape, excellent communication skills, and a data-driven, analytical approach to program development and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and implement influencer-facing marketing and technology programs, including educational resources, Discord community management, and virtual events to foster influencer growth and retention.
  2. Develop and execute a comprehensive influencer lifecycle strategy using marketing automation tools to create a seamless onboarding process, including automated workflows, email and push outreach, and personalized engagement.
  3. Create and manage educational content to help influencers develop skills, expand their platforms, and leverage partnership opportunities.
  4. Lead strategy and editorial direction for influencer technology programs.
  5. Analyze program performance data to optimize initiatives, identify growth opportunities, and support data-driven decision-making for revenue maximization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional marketing experience (non-internship).
  • Proficiency in using data and metrics to improve marketing efforts.
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau, including data manipulation and visualization.
  • Experience in building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs from start to finish.
  • Ability to manage and measure marketing performance across various channels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing external partners for marketing program development.
  • Experience presenting ideas to various organizational levels to gain support.
