A leading airline is seeking an Inflight Safety Specialist to ensure compliance with safety programs and regulations. The role involves developing SMS policies, training staff, and maintaining safety data reporting systems. Ideal candidates will have a strong aviation background and excellent communication skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Summary
The Inflight Safety Specialist is responsible for ensuring the Inflight Safety Team remains compliant with company safety programs, policies, processes, and regulations within Allegiant’s Safety Department.

Minimum Requirements
Combination of education and experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a criminal background check.
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Certification: Yes, must pass Allegiant's Flight Attendant training and maintain currency.
Experience: Minimum two (2) years in aviation, aviation safety, aviation management, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Advanced education may substitute for experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and/or experience in aviation safety or related areas.
Job Duties:
Physical Requirements
Office environment; ability to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, operate computers and phones. May lift up to 20 lbs. May require shifts in a 24-hour schedule. Travel may be required.
Essential Services Provider
As an essential service provider, Team Members may be required to report to work during national and state emergencies unless prohibited.
