NetJets Services, Inc. is seeking an Inflight Instructional Design Intern to work on meaningful projects with a focus on developing and maintaining engaging training materials for Flight Attendants.

You will collaborate with instructional designers and ground instructors to ensure content aligns with current SOPs and evolving business needs. The internship offers hands-on experience in eLearning, content creation, and training development within a dynamic aviation environment, with opportunities

Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, working towards a Bachelor's Degree (Instructional Design, Communications, Journalism, Learning & Development, or other relevant studies)
  • Strong written communication and editing skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint
  • Task-oriented, organized, and conscientious
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, positive, personable, and ability to develop relationships
  • Interest in training development, eLearning, and multimedia content creation
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Support instructional design and training initiatives for Flight Attendants
  • Update training content to reflect evolving business needs and SOPs
  • Audit training content for alignment with SOPs
  • Update newsletters, SOP resources, and content on SharePoint
  • Collaborate with ground instructors and instructional designer
  • Assist with revising classroom training materials and video development

Purpose of Position

Interns are assigned special projects and various other duties that are intended to provide them with valuable professional work experience and industry insight. Interns will perform meaningful work alongside other talented professionals gaining insight to NetJets' unique culture and business philosophy.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • The intern will support a variety of instructional design and training initiatives focused on maintaining accurate, engaging, and operationally aligned learning materials for Flight Attendants
  • Responsibilities include updating training content to reflect evolving business needs, such as incorporating fleet-related language changes and auditing training content to ensure alignment with current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Additional responsibilities include updating newsletters, SOP resources, and other content published on SharePoint sites
  • Collaboration with ground instructors and instructional designer
  • Assist with revising classroom training materials and supporting training video development through shot list creation, shoot-day planning and coordination
