Job summary

The Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine, Emory University School of Medicine, is accepting applications for faculty physicians who will contribute to the clinical, research, and teaching missions of the Division.

The primary responsibility of the candidate will be attending physician coverage of the inpatient and/or outpatient clinical services at Emory University Hospital, Emory University Hospital-Midtown, Emory St.

Qualifications

• Board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases by date of hire.
• Medical licensure for the State of Georgia and DEA certificates by date of hire.
• Provide three letters of reference.

Responsibilities

• Attend physician coverage of inpatient and/or outpatient clinical services at Emory University Hospital, Emory University Hospital-Midtown, Emory St. Joseph's Hospital, Grady Memorial Hospital, and/or the Atlanta VA Medical Center.
• Supervision, evaluation and formal teaching of residents, medical students and infectious diseases fellows.
• Encourage development of active independent research programs in infectious diseases.
