Job summary

The Division of Infectious Diseases within Emory University School of Medicine is recruiting faculty physicians to cover inpatient and/or outpatient services at Emory University Hospital, Emory Midtown, Grady Memorial, and affiliated centers.

The role includes supervision and formal teaching of residents, medical students, and Infectious Diseases fellows, with opportunities to develop independent research programs.

Qualifications

• Board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases by the date of hire.
• Candidates must obtain medical licensure for the State of Georgia and DEA certificates at the date of hire.
• Candidates must provide three letters of reference.

Responsibilities

• Attend inpatient and outpatient infectious diseases services at affiliated hospitals.
• Supervise, evaluate and teach residents, medical students and active Infectious Diseases fellows.
• Develop or participate in research programs in the area of infectious diseases.
