Job summary

The Department of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine seeks an Infectious Diseases physician for the Baylor Medicine practice in Houston. An Assistant Professor appointment is contemplated, with inpatient rounds and outpatient clinics to support our large academic program.

The ideal candidate will be patient-centered, committed to excellence in care, and involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible in Infectious Diseases.
• Texas medical license eligibility.
• Current or in progress DEA certificate.
• Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• 24 weeks of inpatient rounding at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center on the Infectious Diseases consult service.
• 4 half-day clinics per week in General ID clinic at McNair Clinic, when not rounding.
