Job summary

UAB Medicine seeks an RN for the Infectious Disease 1917 Clinic to provide direct patient care and coordinate nursing processes in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. The ID Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while collaborating with physicians, support staff, and patients to ensure quality outcomes.

Required BSN and at least 3 years of RN experience with Alabama licensure; CPR is required, and ACLS/PALS may be needed depending on clinic needs.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience.
• Current Alabama RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation).
• Collaborate with patients, families, and health-team members to maintain standards of professional nursing.
