Job summary

Northwestern University MED-Infectious Disease is seeking a program supervisor to manage daily operations of biomedical and/or social-behavioral studies. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, monitor performance, supervise staff, and ensure adherence to GCP and regulatory guidelines (IRB, FDA CFR, ICH).

You will assist in budgeting, grant administration, and may co-author papers. A strong emphasis on coordinating with sponsors and ensuring timely completion of study activities is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in social or health sciences or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years' research study or relevant experience; supervisory or project management experience required.
• Must complete NU's IRB CITI training before interacting with participants and recertify every 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Leads execution and control of biomedical or social science research projects.
• Coordinates data processing, analysis, and laboratory or field procedures.
• Develops and revises research methodologies and protocols.
• Ensures study activities per protocol, including participant recruitment and informed consent.
• Manages data entry, databases, and coordination with sponsors and collaborators.
• Trains and supervises staff, including junior coordinators and students.
• Prepares and assists with grant submissions, reports, and publications.
