Job summary

Northwestern University seeks a dedicated professional to manage daily operations of biomedical and social-behavioral research studies. You will supervise multidisciplinary teams, ensure protocol adherence, coordinate participant enrollment, and oversee data management and reporting in line with GCP and NU IRB/FDA/ICH guidelines.

The role involves collaboration with sponsors and staff, grant administration, and potential co-authorship of scientific papers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in social/health science or related; or combination education and experience with 2 years of research.
• Master's or higher in social/health science or related; or combination education and experience with 1 year of research.
• Must complete NU's IRB CITI training before interacting with any participants and re-certify every 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Leads execution and control of a biomedical or social science project or research study.
• Manages and ensures completion of study activities per protocol; interviews participants and collects histories; determines eligibility and coordinates consent and scheduling.
• Monitors and documents adverse events; collaborates with nursing staff to adjust procedures and treatment schedules.
• Manages project data including processing, analysis, and reporting; prepares progress and final reports.
