Job summary

The role requires an MD/DO, fellowship in ID, and Ohio license or eligibility, with a focus on evidence-based practice and team collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO in infectious disease from an accredited institution.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Infectious Disease.
• Completion of an Infectious Disease Fellowship program.

Responsibilities

• Provide infectious disease consultations for inpatients and outpatients.
• Diagnose and manage bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic infections.
• Manage complex cases including HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, sepsis, and healthcare-associated infections.
• Participate in antimicrobial stewardship to optimize antibiotic use.
• Collaborate with hospital epidemiology and infection prevention teams.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on infectious diseases and prevention.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
