Faculty Position at the University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine

The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine, practicing in UT Health East Texas facilities, is seeking a skilled BE/BC Infectious Disease physician to join its established and growing Division of Infectious Disease faculty team. This team is dedicated to shaping the future of medical education and clinical care in East Texas.

About Your Work:

1. Join a collegial team of 4 physicians, 4 APPs, and experienced support staff
2. Full-Time Faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, based on experience and qualifications
3. Opportunity to develop programs in clinical operations, outpatient parenteral antibiotic therapy, infection prevention and control, antibiotic stewardship, HIV medicine, telehealth, medical education, NTM clinic, and TB public health
4. Inpatient work at UT Health Tyler, a 502-bed Level I Trauma Center and Level II Stroke Center
5. Outpatient work at UT Health Tyler North Campus
6. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with inpatient mornings and outpatient clinics starting at 10 a.m.
7. Use of Epic EMR system
