Facility in South Bend, IN seeking Infectious Disease locums coverage

Rates: $200/hr

Position Details

• Start Date: February 2025
• Schedule:
  • 24-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 8:00 AM)
  • Covers both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
  • Call ratio: 4:1

Practice Overview

• Practice Setting: Outpatient Clinic and Hospital-based consultative care
• Patient Demographics:
  • 100% adult patients, 25% geriatric
  • Patients per day: can spike to 30 during COVID
• Conditions Managed: HIV/AIDS, MRSA, cellulitis, osteomyelitis, septic joint, meningitis, diabetic foot infections, bacteremia, abscesses
• Team:
  • 3 physicians and 1 NP within the group
  • Participation in Infection Prevention, Infection Control, and Sepsis Programs/Committees
• Support:
  • EMR: Epic (must have Epic experience)

Requirements

• Certification:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) required
  • Active BLS required
• Licensure:
  • Active Indiana License required at submission
• Experience:
  • Comfortable with both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Preferred: Local candidates within driving distance
