Baystate Health is seeking an experienced Epidemiologist - Infectious Disease Physician to join our team in Springfield, MA. The role combines clinical infectious diseases care with hospital epidemiology responsibilities in a major academic-affiliated setting.

You will join a collaborative division, contribute to antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention, and population health initiatives, and hold a UMass Chan Medical School–Baystate faculty appointment commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• ABMS BC/BE fellowship trained in Infectious Disease and committed to lifelong learning.
• Two years of professional experience in infection prevention and control training.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Associate Hospital Epidemiologist and work with infection preventionists.
• Provide comprehensive infectious diseases care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate in clinical research, quality improvement, patient safety and population health initiatives.
• Receive a faculty appointment at UMass Chan Medical School–Baystate Health.
