Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. seeks a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in Infectious Diseases to join our care team in Brick Township, NJ. The pharmacist will participate in clinical patient care, collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other providers to optimize antimicrobial therapy and patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited school, completes a PGY2 Infectious Diseases residency, and demonstrates excellent communication skills along with proficiency

Qualifications

• Graduate of ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy with a Pharm.D. degree.
• Completion of PGY2 Infectious Diseases residency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Pharmacist Infectious Diseases, is responsible for involvement in the clinical aspects of pharmaceutical patient care, including interaction with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers in order to optimize the care of patients in Infectious Diseases.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy with a minimum of a Pharm.D. degree.
• Completion of a clinical pharmacy residency program with two years of pharmacy residency training PGY2 in Infectious Diseases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• Registered Pharmacist License.
