Job summary

The Oklahoma City VA Healthcare System seeks an infectious disease physician Chief to lead and integrate ID services across inpatient and outpatient care in OKC, OK. This full-time, board-certified position reports to hospital leadership and includes clinical care, teaching, research, and program management.

Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30, with opportunities for on-call duties and involvement in infection control, resident supervision, and policy development.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Infectious Disease (ID) with US licensure.
• Current, full, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Infectious Disease inpatient and outpatient attending as needed.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient consultation services.
• Lead and participate in teaching, supervision, and research.
• Represent Infectious Disease Section in hospital committees.
• Coordinate with Infection Control and quality initiatives.
• Take calls for emergency coverage.
