Job summary

Meadow View Health & Rehab, part of American Senior Communities, is seeking an Infection Preventionist/Unit Manager (RN) to lead the infection control program in a skilled nursing setting. On-call rotation is required, and you will ensure compliance with CDC, CMS, and state regulations while supporting resident safety and quality outcomes.

The role requires an active Indiana RN license and completion of the CDC Nursing Home Infection Preventionist Training (or willingness to obtain).

Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN license or ability to obtain.
• Completion of CDC Nursing Home Infection Preventionist Training (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Experience in long-term care, hospital, or healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control programs.
• Ensure compliance with CDC, CMS, and state guidelines.
• Conduct surveillance, reporting, and education related to infection control practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support quality outcomes and regulatory readiness.
• Provide staff education and ongoing training on infection prevention protocols.
