Job summary

AdventHealth in Deland, Florida seeks a skilled infection prevention professional to lead the Infection Prevention and Control program. You will monitor IPC standards, use epidemiologic methods to identify trends, and drive improvements with staff education and cross‑functional collaboration.

Requirements include 2+ years in a clinical infection control or public health setting. CIC is preferred; Bachelor’s degree in health science or related field is desired.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years in clinical infection control or public health.
• Infection Control Certification (CIC) preferred.
• Education in health science or related field required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and continuous improvement of IPC programs.
• Monitor IPC standards and conduct surveillance using epidemiologic methods.
• Develop and deliver IPC education programs for staff.
• Provide data analysis to drive quality improvement and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on antimicrobial stewardship.
