Genesis Healthcare in Warwick, RI seeks an Infection Preventionist to lead the IPCP across locations. You will train staff, develop educational programs, and oversee outbreak management and employee health as part of the IPCP.

Qualifications include RN licensure, specialized training in infection prevention within 90 days, and at least three years of nursing experience. Ability to schedule around evening/night shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN licensure.
• Must complete specialized training in infection prevention and control within 90 days of hire.
• A minimum of three years full-time or equivalent nursing experience is required.
• Must be able to work flexible hours to meet with employees on evening and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the nursing center's Infection Prevention and Control Program (IPCP).
• Provide infection prevention training and education to staff across locations.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and maintain IPCP to ensure quality patient care and prevent infections.
