Encompass Health seeks an Infection Preventionist / Employee Health Coordinator to lead infection control and employee health programs across our facilities. You will partner with care teams to prevent infections, monitor trends, and ensure compliance with CMS, OSHA, and other standards.

The role emphasizes surveillance, policy development, and staff education while supporting patient safety and workforce health. Join a national inpatient rehabilitation leader focused on growth and compassion.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a health-related field.
• Knowledge of Workers' Compensation law and OSHA regulations.
• Training in infection control and/or epidemiology.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• CIC certification preferred.
• 1 year experience in a clinical setting.
• RN with CRRN certification preferred.
• Experience in hospital infection control practice preferred.

Responsabilités

• Direct the managerial functions of our Infection Control Program.
• Assure compliance with CMS, TJC, CDC, OSHA, and other standards.
• Analyze hospital infection data to identify trends and factors.
• Manage hospital policies aligned with infection control guidelines.
• Perform surveillance, analysis, and reporting of hospital-acquired infections.
• Maintain employee health records and develop policies.
• Conduct in-service programs related to employee wellness.
• Manage new hire employee health process.
