Responsibilities

• Conduct surveillance of HAI rates, bloodstream infections, and pneumonias.
• Analyze data and provide reporting to support quality improvement.
• Monitor compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and regulations.
• Partner with teams to assess environmental and patient safety risks.
• Participate in infection prevention audits and sterilization practices.
• Develop and deliver infection prevention training for staff.
• Manage reporting to regulatory agencies and investigations.
• Collaborate with leaders to implement corrective actions and improve outcomes.
• Contribute to committees and initiatives focused on quality and safety.
