Zusammenfassung

Vanderbilt Health in Nashville is seeking an Infection Prevention professional to identify, investigate and report healthcare-associated infections across the Middle Tennessee region. You will collaborate with teams to implement prevention strategies, support public health reporting, and lead education for staff, students, and volunteers.

Qualifikationen

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
3 years of relevant work experience in infection prevention.
Experience with surveillance, reporting and public health collaboration preferred.

Aufgaben

Identify, investigate, monitor, and report healthcare-associated infections.
Collaborate to create infection prevention strategies and provide feedback.
Develop management/communication strategies for quality and safety activities.
Design and deliver training on infection prevention for staff and students.
Counsel follow-up and work restriction recommendations for communicable diseases.
Monitor environmental safety aspects affecting patient care and sterilization practices.
