Qualifications

• Accredited program required.

Responsibilities

• Provides surveillance for infection control purposes.
• Identifies, investigates, and records data on nosocomial infections and infectious diseases.
• Initiates infection control measures as directed by infection control committee.
• Develops infection control policies and prevention programs.
