Job summary

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates commitment to the organization's mission and ethical standards.
• Develops, implements, evaluates, and directs the facility's infection prevention and control program.
• Participates in facility surveys by government agencies as requested.
• Monitors infection prevention practices and ensures SOPs are followed for exposure to blood/body fluids.
• Makes rounds for case findings, sanitation review, and isolation practice supervision.
• Reviews infectious disease lab reports with the DON to ensure aseptic techniques.
• Ensures proper disposal of infective and contaminated materials.
