Job summary
Hackensack Meridian Health seeks qualified professionals in infection prevention to support patient safety and quality of care. Candidates should have formal training in nursing or related field, be certified or eligible, and complete infection control training.
The role requires multidisciplinary collaboration, clinical care, and ongoing CE, with NJ RN license and Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
Qualifications
- Professional training in nursing, medical technology, microbiology, epidemiology, or related field.
- Be qualified by education, training, experience or certification.
- Complete training in infection prevention and control.
- Participation on quality assessment and assurance committee.
- Training by APIC, CDC, SHEA or CBIC/NADONA or 5 yrs experience in Infection Control.
- Current with all Continuing Education (CE) requirements.
- Perform clinical care professionally.
- Serve as patient advocate and role model to other Team Members.
- Ability to effectively work on a multidisciplinary team.
